We will start our journey to Tibet with a spectacular flight over the word’s great mountains on earth such as Kanchenjunga (8586m/ 28,169ft), Mt. Everest (8848m/ 29.028ft), Mt. Makalu (8463m/ 27,766ft). Experience the great influence of Buddhism in Lhasa.
Drive through the beautiful Turquoise lake on the way to historic town of Gyantse with its unique multi-storied Kumbum Stupa. The trek to Everest Base Camp lead you through historic expedition route from Old Tingri to Rongbuk Monastery. Explore the Rongbuk glacier set directly below the massive north-face of Mt. Everest.

DAY 01: KATHMANDU (1300M) -TSEDANG (3400M)
Fly to LHASA crossing over the panoramic Himalayan ranges (1 hr).
Transfer from Gongar airport to Tsedang (105 Kms-02 hours drive)
Afternoon at leisure for acclimatization

DAY 02: TSEDANG(3400M)-LHASA(3600M)
Breakfast in hotel
Morning visit of Samye Monastery
Continue drive to Lhasa (195 km-04 hours drive)

DAY 03: LHASA

Visit Tsurpu and drive back to Lhasa

Morning visit of Potala Palace
Afternoon visit of Jokhang Temple and Barkhor street

Morning visit of Drepung Monastery
Afternoon visit of Sera Monastery and Norbulingka

Drive to Shigatse via Shalu Monastery (90 km –02 hours drive)
Visit Tashilumpo Monastery

DAY 09: SHIGATSE(3800M)-SHEGAR(4150M)

Drive to Shegar via Shakya Monastery (239 km-08 hours drive)

DAY 10: SHEGAR

Day excursion to Everest base camp and return to Shegar.

DAY 11: SHEGAR(4150M)-ZHANGMU(2100M)
