Day 01. Arrive Bagdogra airport and transfer to Marina Hotel for lunch. After lunch proceed to Darjeeling about 90 kms 4 hrs drive with short tea break at Kurseong. O/N hotel

Day 02. Darjeeling sightseeing. Visit Ghoom Monastery, Dali Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Happy Valley Tea Garden. O/N hotel

Day 03. Transfer to Gangtok about 106 kms 4-5 hrs drive enterning Sikkim through Rongpo check post. Afternoon at leisure. O/N hotel or home stay

Day 04. Gangtok sightseeing. Visit Rumtek Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do-Drul Chorten, After lunch visit Cottage Industry and Enchey Monastery. O/N hotel or home stay

Day 05. Transfer to Pelling 120 kms about 6 hrs drive. On the way visit Temi Tea Garden, Kundrakling Monastery and Tashiding Monastery. O/N hotel

Day 06. Pelling sightseeing. Visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Sangacholling Monastery and Khechupalri Lake. O/N hotel

Day 07. Transfer to Kalimpong about 105 kms 4 hrs drive + sightseeing – visit Sandokpalri Monastery and explore the market. O/N hotel

Day 08. Transfer to Jaigoan about 5 hrs drive. O/N hotel

Day 09. Cross the border to Phuntsholing, Bhutan at 8.30 AM and process visa.  Later a brief stroll in Phuntsholing town before driving to Thimphu; Enroute visit  Kharbandi  Monastery with a lunch stop at Bunakha Cafeteria. Driving distance is 176 Kms and will approximately take 6-7 hrs. Check into hotel; and a welcome cocktail with cultural programme will be organised before dinner. O/N Hotel Riverview or similar

Day 10.
Day in Thimphu. Full day sightseeing - Visit Dup-Thop Lhakhang & Zilukha Nunnery, Changangkha Monastery, Indigenous Hospital, Zorig Chusum (Painting School), National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, Textile Museum, Bhutanese Handmade Paper Factory, Local Gold & Silver Smiths at work and Handicrafts Emporium. Evening visit Tashichhodzong, the central secretariat that houses the throne room and the office of the King and Ministers. Evening at leisure in town. O/N Hotel Riverview or similar

Day 11. After breakfast, visit Memorial Chorten, Mini Zoo to see "Takin" the national animal of Bhutan and Sangye Gang for view of Thimphu valley. Drive to Paro, check into hotel and lunch. After lunch visit Kyichu Lhakhang (one of the oldest and holiest monasteries in Bhutan), ruins of Drukgyel Dzong and a Bhutanese Traditional Farm House on the way back. Evening at leisure on foot around Paro town. O/N Hotel Olathang or similar

Day 12. Day in Paro. Early breakfast and excursion to Takshang Monastery. This is also one the holiest monasteries and very popular pilgrimage site in Bhutan. It is believed that Guru Rimpoche, the founder of Buddhism in Bhutan flew in on the back of a Tigress and meditated in this spot to subdue demons of the Paro valley. Thus the name "Takshang" literally means Tiger’s Nest. This monastery clings vertically on a granite cliff around 300 Mtrs above the valley floor. Lunch at Takshang cafeteria. After lunch visit Taa Dzong, the National Museum of Bhutan and Rimpong Dzong. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Olathang or similar

Day 13. Drive to the airport and and fly back to Kathmandu / Delhi / Kolkata / Bangkok
